Yes, that's me. My first show. Had to make my own pedestals and brochures. Sold my first bowl on opening night. What a thrill to watch people come and look, wanting to handle the bowls. And when I handed them the bowl - it was electric. The room lit up and I couldn't wait to get back to my shop and make more. This was FUN.

I was surrounded by Artists of the Brush. Curiosity filled the air as I drew a huge crowd around my display (it was either my bowls or my famous Hobo Molasses Cookies). I knew there would be wine but I would need something to eat. So, I baked 18 dozen Hobo Cookies. I was on the second floor of the Gallery but faced the head of the stairway. My bowls and cookies were a hit and I was hooked. The cookies lasted two hours and the bowls took a little longer, but all sold.
